Rentals

Rentals are to be used as is - with the only modifications being acceptable being:

-Parts that can be removed to return it to the same condition as you rented it (wheels, set-on light bars, vinyl stickers/wraps, window tint, License Plates, etc)

NO HOLES and NO BODY DAMAGE are allowed on rentals.

You must trailer or transport the vehicles to your film location, with the exception of pre-arranged approval by UPC/the vehicle to drive it to your location.

Mileage and GPS locations are tracked at all times by UtahPictureCars. Expected mileage must be disclosed and approved when renting.

Production houses/renters must provide your own full insurance on the vehicles at all times. If the cars break, are involved in an accident, or need repair, the renter must immediately contact UPC.

Renting your car through UPC

UPC Rentals are registered to the respective owner in their respective state of ownership. Owners wanting to rent their car must provide a valid ID, Title and registration to UPC to list on the site.

UPC will take 50% of agreed upon rental fee from the production house for the rental of the vehicles, and the remaining 50% will be paid to the owner after the rental is completed.

UPC acts as a broker between owners of vehicles to be used for rental purposes and the film houses who need them. UPC holds no ownership claims to any rental vehicles unless otherwise notified.

Choosing to have your vehicle on UPC to be available for rental for film and picture use is soley at the risk of the owner. UPC does not hold any liability if a rental gets damaged or stolen, and repairs must be arranged with the party that damaged it by the owner.

See our Rent your Vehicle section for more info!

Custom Builds/Hero Cars

Custom builds are built at an arrangement between the movie production managers and UPC. Upfront costs including purchase price of the vehicle to modify, and 50% of expected parts and labor are required to commission a custom build.

Payments

UPC uses Paypal and Venmo, cash, and checks/bank transfers to collect payments, and uses Venmo or PayPal to send payments to those who have rented their vehicle through UPC.

Payments will be sent to the vehicles owner AFTER the vehicle is back from the rental, unless otherwise agreed, no exceptions.

Once an agreement has been made those renting vehicles or commissioning custom builds will receive an invoice and terms of rental agreement that must be signed, and sent back to UPC.

No Paypal account is needed to pay an invoice, but it will be required to receive payment for rentals.

UPC will accept bank transfers for rental payments only on a case by case basis. Bank transfers to those seeking payment for renting their vehicle are not possible at this time.

Venmo payments must have an active account to both pay and receive.

Zelle, Cashapp, apple pay etc are not accepted at this time.

A.I. Usage

UPC uses AI for certain photos for website design, but UPC will never use AI photos claiming to be work we have done. All AI photos are intended to be replaced by 2028, as the funds needed are allocated for other costs within UPC.
